Ways a Wife Can Live in Respect of Her Husband's Role of Servant-Leader
June 17, 2008 - Pastor Michael D. Sproul
  1. By listening and helping not only with his verbal desires, but also his non-verbal ones
  2. By being available to him to listen and/or love no matter the difficulties of the day
  3. By referring to him with the utmost respect, both publicly and privately
  4. By finding that fine line between nagging and helping
  5. By taking initiative to accomplish mutually agreed upon goals for your family
  6. By being a godly influence on any children with which God blesses you
  7. By creating a home, not just a house, that is warm and receptive to your husband’s spending time there
  8. By making God the priority of your life
  9. By having fun with him
  10. By never reminding him that you were right when he fails
  11. By forgiving him when he fails you and the kids
  12. By encouraging him to spiritual service, even when that might deprive you of some of his time

Michael D. Sproul, D.Min.
Senior Pastor

About Pastors' Posts

The pastors of Tri-City Baptist Church have a wide variety of experience and education. This variety brings a richness to our ministry. Our pastors will post articles on topics near and dear to them. Every few days there will be a new article. Feel free to communicate with the author with any comments or questions. Part of Tri-City's mission is "to assist its members and other fundamental churches...in fulfilling the Great Commission." That is the purpose of this site. It is tied directly to our vision for our ministry. We trust it will be a blessing to you.
