Men's Retreat - October 17-18, 2008

Tri-City Baptist Church's 2008 Men's Retreat was a great success. All together 112 boys, teens, and men attended the retreat at Tonto Rim Camp near Payson on October 17 and 18--our largest group ever! Many drove up early to play football, soccer, and the deadly contact sport of crokinole; 94 men arrived in time for the steak dinner. We then had a wonderful time of fellowship, time alone with God, challenging messages from the Tri-City staff, and--as always everyone's favorite--singing together. Nothing sounds better than a hundred men lifting up their voices in praise. This year we had a special performance from our head deacon Keith Roberts who with Bill Wells sang a moving song accompanied by Jay Stone. Plan now to come next year - October 16-17, 2009!
