Evangelistic Meetings - February 5-10, 2012

The Will Galkin evangelistic team ministered at Tri-City Baptist Church February 5-10. It was a week of spiritual blessing as the team played beautiful music and Will spoke each night from God’s Word. God used this week to bring people to salvation and to encourage and challenge His people to change.

Every night had a different theme; Sunday was Friend Day/Night, a chance to invite unsaved friends and coworkers to a Sunday services. On Monday all regular Adult Bible Fellowship attendees were encouraged to come hear a message on developing a biblical worldview. Tuesday focused on end times prophecy. The theme on Wednesday was family, with a challenge on love from Brother Will. The “Cola War” youth rally on Thursday ended with a message on salvation. Friday rounded out the week with an Irish concert featuring both secular and sacred music. The children had a special program each night and there were also preservice sessions for every age group. The teens and adults both learned about walking in the Spirit. God worked in hearts during the week and a number of people made decisions, including several for salvation.

More opportunities for growth and fellowship are coming up! Men are welcome to come to the prayer breakfast on February 18 and the ladies are invited to the Ladies’ Brunch on February 25. On February 26, the whole church family will head over to Tumbleweed Park for the annual Picnic in the Park. Spend the afternoon playing games, enjoying delicious pie, and relaxing with the body of Christ. Don’t forget that Easter is coming up soon; join us for our services celebrating our Lord’s Resurrection!
