Memorial Day ABF Backyard BBQs - May 29, 2011

Relationships are an important part of Tri-City Baptist Church. One way that the church encourages members to develop relationships is through the Adult Bible Fellowships that meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. The ABFs are a chance for believers to meet with others at a similar point in life, whether Newly Marrieds or Senior Saints.

On the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, the evening church service was canceled so each ABF could hold a "backyard barbeque" where members and friends could fellowship outside of the usual Sunday morning meeting. Each ABF did something a little different; some had traditional barbecues at a member’s home, some met at parks, and one played miniature golf and then enjoyed dinner and musical entertainment at Organ Stop Pizza. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to meet informally and get to know each other better.
