Ladies' Brunch - January 8, 2011

The Ladies' Brunch was held early this year, on January 8, 2011. Over one hundred ladies of all ages attended the traditional event. This year's theme was Abide in Me, taken from John 15:4, which says "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me." The theme could be found everywhere, from the song choices to the grape table centerpieces.

After singing and special music, everyone enjoyed the brunch dishes they had brought to share. Mrs. Barbara Hoyle gave a testimony about the blessings she received during and after her treatment for breast cancer.

The brunch concluded with a craft as everyone made ribbon bookmarks with charm adornments.
