Silent Auction and Dinner - March 26, 2011
Tri-City Christian Academy's first annual Silent Auction and Dinner was held on Saturday, March 26. There were around 170 people who enjoyed the good food, friendly competition at the auction, and fellowship with old and new friends. A dinner of tri-tip sirloin was provided by the kitchen staff. TCA students kept background music going throughout the dinner and the auction. After the dinner, the TCA Chorale performed patriotic songs , including an arrangement of "The Star-Spangled Banner." Over $10,000 was raised through this event to finish the project of the lighting on the soccer field. Due to further services donated for the lighting project, we will be able to complete other much needed projects for the Academy.
The speaker for the event was Len Munsil, former candidate for Arizona Governor, founder of The Center for Arizona Policy and an educator. He reminded the audience of the importance of striving forward in good Christian education.
The evening was a success and set a high standard for future Silent Auctions.Click here to view more photos.
