TCA Seniors Visit Washington, D.C. - April 20-28, 2010
After spending twelve years in school and a couple of years fundraising, Tri-City Christian Academy seniors had the opportunity to visit many places they had learned about in school. They traveled to Washington, D.C., New York City, and Philadelphia April 20-28. These great American cities are the home of many important events in our nation's history. Philadelphia is where the country was born; New York City is where so many immigrants stopped as they came to American for a new beginning; Washington, D.C. is the nation's capital and home to many monuments commemorating our past. The trip included visits to the White House, the Capitol, and the war memorials in Washington, D.C.; the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, and Ground Zero in New York City; and the Liberty Bell, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Pastor Thad Todd, TCA principal, chaperoned the trip along with his wife Angela who is also a teacher at TCA, and the senior class sponsor, Mrs. Donnalee Eberle. |
