A Day at Tri-City Christian Academy

Office Hours

The Academy office is open for business each school day between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Anyone who needs information concerning school policies and activities, or who has questions, may call or visit the Academy office during these hours.

School Day

The Tri-City Christian Academy (TCA) school day begins at 8:05 a.m. and ends at 3:10 p.m. for the academy and 3:15 p.m. for the high school.

• Half day Kindergarten begins at 8:05 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m.
• Full day Kindergarten through 6th grade begins at 8:05 a.m. and ends at 3:10 p.m.
• 7th-12th grade begins at 8:05 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m.

Before/After School Care

Supervised early and late stay is provided before and after school from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for K3-2nd graders through Time For Tots, also a ministry of Tri-City Baptist Church. The cost is $4.20 per hour (pro-rated).

Tri-City Christian Academy provides supervised early and late stay before and after school from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for 3rd-6th graders.

Lunch

Hot lunch items, chips, ice cream, fruit cups, snacks, and assorted drinks are available for purchase. Students who bring sack lunches may also purchase milk or refreshments. The Seniors sell food to help raise funds for their senior trip.

• K3-2nd Grade:$3.75
• 3rd-6th Grade: $4.00
• 7th-12th Grade: $4.50
• Salad Bar: $4.00

Uniforms

TCA requires its students to wear uniforms to help eliminate conflict between students and the school, students and parents, and parents and the school, and to remove social stigma.

Uniforms may be purchased from Simply School Uniforms either through their website or at their store in Tempe.
