9-12-2004 9/11 Memorial
On Sunday, September 12, 2004, some Re:vive members went to the see the September 11 Memorial at Tempe Town Lake. It was very humbling to see over 4,000 flags -- each symbolizing a person who died either on September 11 or during the recent military campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq. Flags indicating soldiers were marked with a yellow ribbon. The view from the bridge was amazing -- especially when a mild wind blew and set all the flags in motions.
Our group of attendees included: Andrew (who took the pictures), Heidi, James, Steve. Preston, Chase, Kristina, and Sarah.
