A record 28 people went to Payson for the Doulos Retreat this year. Doulos is the leadership team for Re:vive, Tri-City Baptist Church's college ministry ("doulos" is Greek for bondslave). The Doulos retreat is a time of fellowship, reflection, and preparation for the school year ahead. The retreat began on Friday, September 10, 2010 with singing and sharing around a campfire, followed by a time of serious smore-making. On Saturday the retreat continued with focused devotional time and a teambuilding activity. After lunch and planning sessions, the group made their way back to Phoenix with a new vision for ministry in the coming months.
