Students arrived on Thursday afternoon and were soon on their way to ASU for Have You Heard?, an evangelistic outreach Tri-City Baptist Church holds every semester. After rooming with IBC students in the residence hall on Thursday night, they had a choice of several classes to attend on Friday morning: General Psychology with Miss Sandy Fullmer, Theology 4: Angels, the Church, and Last Things with Mr. Nathan Mestler, Persuasive Speech with Mr. Jeff Caupp, or Daniel and Revelation with Mr. Nathan Mestler. In addition, the day included a challenge on decision-making, and a special session mingled with fun and laughs about student life, IBC's mentoring program, and the practical realities of college life.
"We had the privilege of meeting new people and making new friends during this year's College Days. Knowing God will use this time in each of the lives of the students who came is the special blessing of this event!" says Mrs. Nicole Teachout, Director of Public Relations.
Students of all ages who are interested in learning more about IBC and improving their musical abilities are invited to this year's music camps. Band Camp, July 9-13, is open to students in grades 5-12. During the week of July 16-20, Discover Music! Camp for Kids for 1st-6th grade students, and Music Camp for 7th-12th grade students will be held. For more information, visit the Fine Arts Summer Camps webpage.
