Lessons and Carols - December 2, 2010

International Baptist College's traditional Christmas celebration, Lessons and Carols, featured the IBC Choir, soloists, and Chamber Orchestra presenting the baroque masterwork GLORIA by Antonio Vivaldi. The performance was much more than just a wonderful musical experience; it was also a blessing to the grieving church and college family, reeling from the news of Tiffany Brock's death the night before. Tiffany, wife of IBC president David Brock, was a music professor at IBC, as well as a pianist at Tri-City Baptist Church. It was remarked that the performance was the quality of music that Mrs. Brock had been working for all these years. It was a fitting tribute to her years of effort to establish the IBC music program.
