International Students
International applicants must abide by ALL of the following admissions guidelines:
- All international students must come by referral from a sister Fundamental church or
institution.
- International Baptist College expects that all students who come to the United States to
train will return to their homeland to minister as their life calling. No one is permitted to
seek permanent residency or American citizenship or to develop a romantic relationship with an American citizen.
- All international students must guarantee their own financial support. International students who do not already possess permanent resident status in the United States are
required by the Immigration and Naturalization Service to complete an I-20 form to verify
that the student has sufficient financial resources to pay for the cost of travel, living expenses, and education in this country. This guarantee may come from such places as family, church, or persons or organizations that will sponsor them.
International Baptist College will not find sponsors for foreign students.
- All international students must be able to sign with integrity and good conscience their
complete agreement with the doctrinal statement of International Baptist College.
- International students must demonstrate that they have adequate educational preparation
for college level work by presenting detailed documentation and description of their
secondary educational program.
- International students must demonstrate proficiency in the English language and should
be prepared to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
- International students are required by law to be registered as a full-time college student.
