Graduate Programs

IBC's graduate programs are designed to equip balanced leaders who will develop other spiritually and intellectually sound believers to serve one another in the local church and around the world (2 Tim 2:2). The graduate programs blend the best of strong academics with the best of practical experience. One needs more than academic knowledge to be a success in ministry. He also needs a love for souls, first-hand experience in a thriving local church ministry, and a deep spiritual devotion to the Lord. IBC, with the help of its mother institution, Tri-City Baptist Church, seeks to provide this kind of balanced education for its students.

It is imperative today more than ever for the Christian to be equipped intellectually to deal with this modern world. The graduate programs at IBC are designed to help meet that need. For those interested in the Pastoral Ministry, the Master of Ministry and the Doctor of Ministry degrees are designed to meet the needs of a pastor who senses the need for further preparations but who cannot leave his present ministry. Classes are taught in one- and two-week modules in January and June. For those interested in educational pursuits, the Master of Arts in Biblical Studies is designed to prepare the student in pursuing classroom ministry and possible further educational enrichment.
