one semester, two hours

A study of the science and methods of biblical interpretation for the purpose of improved presentation with attention to prophecy, typology, and the pre-millennial interpretation of Scriptures.

Bi 111 Pentateuch

one semester, two hours

A study of the five books of Moses with special attention to the creation, fall, and flood.

Bi 122 Life of Christ

one semester, two hours

A study of the earthly life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Gospels with special attention to the chronological sequence of events and spoken messages.

Bi 212 Old Testament Historical Books

one semester, two hours

A practical and historical study of the biblical books of Joshua through Esther.

Bi 221 Acts

one semester, two hours

A study of the inspired account of early Christianity from a historical, doctrinal, and practical perspective with special attention to Bible geography.

Bi 311 Old Testament Poetry

one semester, two hours

A study of the interpretation and practical application of the poetic portions of the Old Testament including Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon.

**Bi 312 Isaiah

one semester, two hours

A practical, historical, and analytical study with special attention to the Messiah’s sufferings and the glory of His kingdom.

*Bi 321 Romans

one semester, three hours

A verse-by-verse study of the book of Romans and its major doctrinal emphases.

**Bi 322 Pauline Epistles I

one semester, two hours

A study of the life and epistles of Paul with attention to major doctrinal themes along with practical application to Christian living (Galatians, I and II Thessalonians, I and II Corinthians).

*Bi 402 Daniel and Revelation

one semester, three hours

An analytical and comparative study of these vitally important prophetic books from a pre-millennial and pre-tribulational position.

*Bi 411 Minor Prophets

one semester, two hours

A historical and prophetical study of the 12 minor prophets from a pre-millennial and dispensational viewpoint.

*Bi 421 Hebrews and General Epistles

one semester, three hours

An analytical and expository study of the books of Hebrews; James; I and II Peter; I, II, and III John; and Jude.

**Bi 422 Pauline Epistles II

one semester, two hours

A study of the life and epistles of Paul with attention to major doctrinal themes along with practical application to Christian living (pastoral and prison epistles).

**Bi/Th 490 Directed Reading in Bible and Theology

one semester, one – three hours

A guided study in a specified exegetical or theological topic; open only to upperclassmen who have secured permission from the faculty.

*Th 100 Biblical Principles of Separation (General Seminar)

one semester, one hour

A required survey of biblical separation: personal, ecclesiastical, and church-state.

Th 101 Theology I

one semester, two hours

A succinct and systematic study of two major doctrines: theology proper (the doctrine of God) and anthropology (the doctrine of man) with respective emphases upon the holiness of God and the total depravity of man.

Th 102 Theology II

one semester, two hours

An abbreviated systematic survey of the doctrines of hamartiology (the doctrine of sin) and soteriology (the doctrine of salvation) including biblical and limited philosophical considerations of each.

*Th 103 Dispensationalism

one semester, two hours

Studies in classical and contemporary dispensational theory with a view towards hermeneutical methods.

**Th 200 Contemporary Christianity (General Seminar)

one semester, one hour

A survey of the modern day theological spectrum from fundamentalism to liberalism.

Th 201 Theology III

one semester, three hours

A systematic survey of bibliology (the doctrine of the Bible), christology (the doctrine of Christ), and pneumatology (the doctrine of the Holy Spirit), touching the origin and purpose of the Scriptures, the incarnation of Christ, and the doctrine of the Holy Spirit.

Th 202 Theology IV

one semester, three hours

A survey of angelology (the doctrine of angels, fallen and unfallen), ecclesiology (the doctrine of the church), and eschatology (the doctrine of last things), with special emphasis on the local visible church and premillennial return of Christ.

**Th 312 Christian Ethics

one semester, two hours

An analytical examination of the alternatives upon which every man, consciously or unconsciously, must base his mode of value judgments, moral decisions, and conduct including an evaluation of contemporary issues, practices, and problems.

*Th 422 Apologetics and Christian Evidences

one semester, two hours

A study of evidential and philosophical proofs of the Christian faith.

**Th 431 Contemporary Theology

one semester, two hours

A survey of the roots and outward expressions of current theological systems including liberalism, neo-orthodoxy, and neo-evangelicalism.
